![]() Pole of Agony AND Sleep are both casted right in front of the player when not moved. Take this into considerantion: Hangman's Knot makes all linked targets come right in front of you, not being able to move or attack for a few seconds. (Yes, this skill has a cooldown too long, but that is because it is a very OP skill. Pole of Agony: *(number of targets that touch the pole) hits, 120 seconds cooldown. Needs Linker to be efficient as 25~75 hits are not much when spread, but a lot when multiplied) So as a Sorc not sure it's worth itĭark Theurge: 25 spirits, 32 seconds cooldown (Currently considered best scaling skill in the game, unless it gets nerfed it's bound to have 75 total hits on max level, that on a 32 seconds cooldown, with 2 multipliers AND attributes. Doesn't seem worth it to me, especially since i'm not a cold build so i get even less value from it. Overall for extra added cost buying runes ontop of skills that aren't necessarily top notch, also pre-requisite is a WIZ C3 MUST HAVE or forget about going runecaster. There isn't a partial effect or lessened duration/effect. Debuffs are binary in this game: they either work or they don't. It's terrible for DPS.Īlgiz makes debuffs have less chance to work. In reality it's not needed and most people will ignore your rune. It's uses include: fooling around, using on a peltasta to make him tank better, walking through maps faster. It's a buff on you, no need to worry about being restricted to an area. It means your party members (fellow cryomancers) must be near you when you release the cast. Hard to aim, damage isn't that great - but it's useful when there's many mobs stacked or in a line.Ībout Isa - the former. It's also good for oneshots in pvp as long as there are 2 or 3 people near each other. Hagalaz is good anytime you have many monsters in one spot. Surespell is a Wiz2 skill while Quickcast is Wiz3. If you jump on enemies you will do damage to them, like Super Mario.Īlgiz - Party buff that increases resistance to status effects like Freeze, Petrify, Hexing, etc.Īt 5/5 Quickcast reduces cast time by 50%. Giant form boosts maximum health, movement speed, defenses. When an ally steps on the rune they become a giant, unable to use most skills. Thurisaz - Casts a short duration rune in front of you. Does not work on persistent ground effects - Hail, Frost Cloud. Boosts ice damage by 300% for the duration. Weaker than Hagalaz but it's cooldown is shorter. The spell particle effect goes further than the actual hitbox of this skill. Tiwaz - Line AOE medium damage skill that casts in the direction you are facing. Every target hit by the initial blast will release an energy ball that will hit another monster. Hagalaz - Ground target AOE heavy damage skill (similar to meteor). Cast will be interrupted by damage unless you have Surespell. You cannot move while charging unlike energy bolt. Currently the cast time of all five spells is 8 seconds without Quickcast. Each cast costs a Rune (500 silver item bought at Runecaster Master) aside from the SP cost. So essentially Sorc lv2 is good enough imho.Īll of runecaster skills require full charge to be released no matter the level. Salamion has more stat increase potential but i only bother to spend 1 point only, so to me this is useless since it was just an after thought skill i got. i don't think it's that big a deal to be worth going sorc 3 for. Summon familiar basically you go from 11 to 15 bats. But i heard lv 6 cat companion is awesome. ![]() Maybe there's even a monster gem for it, who knows. Seems the only way for cat to 6 is with the help of priest buff. Lv 3 sorc you can level up skills like the summon toĮvocation and desmodus not sure how good these spells are, but basically their just nuke spells that consume SPĪs for other skills, cat is maxed at lv 5. ![]() i'll report back my findings once i've found out.Īnyhow was playing around with the calculator for possible builds for a sorc Takes some time and investment which is where i'm at to get this to work well. also the SPR passive sorc skill you pay to learn can help a lot and reduce bonfire resting time so you don't lag behind party in dungeons. ![]() usually i'd just dispel him and resummon only when needed so i don't have to bonfire too often for downtime.īut when you do bonfire, always summon cat familiar then use bonfire. Firewood u use a lot especially once templeshooter drains up all your mana or after your done and want to rest. problem is the SP potions but even then i feel it's manageble, since most of the time i don't use mana potions except for bosses or emergencies so i can keep costs low. Actually firewood doesn't cost much once you reach my lv. ![]()
